Journalist Famke Janssen ditches her companion at an art exhibition for painter Jon Favreau and they embark on an on-off affair in this extremely engaging and consistently amusing feature-length sitcom. It's Janssen's best role so far and she gives a winning turn as a worldly-wise, yet world-weary working girl for whom the road to love ('ecstasy and agony') is a bitter-sweet journey. Favreau oozes quirky charm and crumpled sex appeal effortlessly. David Schwimmer is a hoot in an unbilled cameo as a Jehovah's Witness. Delicious.
